There is more than one way to look for a petrol station near you. A postcode is useful when you know the area you want to search; a town name works well for planning ahead; device location is handy when you are already out and about.
Pick a search that matches your privacy and route
Location search asks your browser for permission to use the device position. If you would rather not grant it, type a town or postcode into the CarFuel search. You can change the search area without changing your device settings.
After the results load, confirm the place name and station address. Map distance can be measured in a straight line, so it may differ from the road distance around a river, railway or one-way system. If two results are close in price, choose the one that fits your planned route.
Use the listed grade and record time to judge whether a price is relevant. A location search can find options, but it cannot confirm that a pump is open or that the listed value has not changed. Check the forecourt details and pump when you arrive.
Prices and availability can change. Check the current pump price and the fuel grade approved for your vehicle before filling.
