Ready-to-use embed
Latest UK price snapshot
A compact national average across standard and premium petrol and diesel grades, where records are available.
Use a concise, dated comparison in a story, briefing or publication. The ready-made widgets update from the station records available to CarFuel and carry a source link with them.
The Press room is for journalists, researchers, community publishers and anyone who needs a clear way to cite UK petrol station prices. Each widget is a small, self-contained iframe. Copy the code, paste it into a page that permits iframes, and leave the CarFuel credit visible.
Embedding is free for editorial and commercial pages when the linked CarFuel credit remains intact. You may quote an individual figure with a CarFuel link and its record date. Do not imply CarFuel endorses a publication or retailer, alter a price to suggest it is current, or bulk-copy and redistribute the underlying station records.
These tools use only comparisons supported by CarFuel’s current data model. If a grade or group does not have enough eligible records, its embed says so instead of filling the gap with an estimate.
Give the fuel grade, the geography or group, and the date shown on the widget. A national average is not the price at every pump; a station-level record may change before a reader gets there. For print or broadcast, use a credit such as “Source: CarFuel, accessed [date]”. Online, link the credit to CarFuel.
CarFuel presents structured station-price records by fuel grade and location. Basic range and freshness checks are applied before a record is used in a comparison. Retailers and the source service remain responsible for submitting the underlying price. The time printed on a widget is the latest eligible feed time CarFuel can show, not a promise that a pump has not changed since then.
The supermarket comparison groups stations by a pattern in their retailer name; it is not an independent audit of ownership. Brand averages require a minimum number of eligible stations and can still hide differences between local petrol stations. These group figures are useful context, not a substitute for a local station quote.
